Care for a mosaic piece as you would for any work of art glass. Handle it carefully and maintain its shimmer and glow by polishing it occasionally with a soft dry cloth. If you are using a glass cleaner (such as Windex) on the glass or mirror, we recommend you spray the product on your polishing cloth, not on the piece, to avoid staining the grout between the tiles.

The pieces that are grouted are protected with a commercial sealer to protect them from staining, but use reasonable care. Any spills on your mosaic art should be blotted immediately. Be sure to reseal your mosaic art at least once a year to continue the protection of your piece (We use a penetrating grout sealer you can find at Lowe's or Home Depot).

Teatems, gazing balls, bird feeders and other garden art can be used indoors or outdoors, but our rule of thumb is to follow the above instructions and treat any outdoor piece with care. In addition, all hand painted bird feeders should be resealed with a clear coat once a year. They have been primered and an outdoor paint has been used on each piece for durability.
